Once a year the Textile Arts Council of the Fine Arts Museum organizes a Textile Bazaar sale. This year was a gathering of beautiful booths with textiles from across the world. There were three pieces that I just had to have. The first was an alpaca shawl/scarf that felt so soft to the touch. It was handmade from Peru. The second piece I found was in a bin of vintage scarves. Upon closer inspection, there was a print of Bottega Venetta at the edging. I decided to take the Southwest pattern teal colored scarf for its bright colors and patterning. What great finds at the Textile Bazaar. I'll definitely be coming back next year.
