Botanical illustrators Robert Warner, Benjamin Samuel Williams and Thomas Moore published "The Orchid Album" in 1882. With meticulous effort Warner, Williams and Moore depicted the intricacies of each orchid specimen, detailing the physiological characteristics of each flower in its habitat. One of the original editions is housed at the Missouri Botanical Garden Peter H. Raven library.
