Imperial Blue and White Porcelain

At the January AmericasMart show, I met Sandy Blazek of Trellis.  She asked about color palettes that seem to be missing in our current collection.  Where are the cobalts and hues of blue?  In exploring the elegant patterns of imperial blue and white porcelain, and reinterpretations in chinoiserie as well as the arts and craft genre works of William Morris, we decided to conjure the pure and serene beauty of blue and white.  This first prototype mesmerizes a blue silhouette atop a creamy backdrop.
