High Point Sneak Preview: Aert Schouman

Let's take a look at some new inspirations we're bringing to High Point Market.  You can see them at our showroom, G-6002B, Suites at Market Square, Salon Ground.

Aert Schouman was a prolific Dutch painter, glass engraver/ collector and dealer. He produced still lifes, biblical and mythological themes, natural history studies, and more. 
 
This parrot, inspired by Schouman's work, emphatically asserts dominion upon a background inspired by William Morris.  The pillow is edged with a 1" flange.  Pair these pillows with a matching velvet Euro for a visually striking combination.

Complementary colors are displayed by complementary birds in this picture inspired by the work of Schouman.  These pillows are 22” x 22” and made of silky-soft cotton sateen.  The invisible zipper runs along the bottom.

Schouman founded The Confrerie, a group of amateur art lovers, in 1736.  It lasted for over 25 years. 
 
In this captivating combination, an august cockatoo emerges artfully from a background inspired by William Morris.  All flange pillows are 26” x 26”.  All Euros are also 26” x 26”.
