Discovering Hilma af Klint

Hilma af Klint was a Swedish artist that created a volume of abstract art.  Her childhood experiences in nature inspired her diagrammatic works, and her paintings were often a visual representation of complex spiritual ideas. When she passed, she willed her collection of over 1200 pieces to her nephew Erik af Klint and asked that the collection be kept a secret for 20 years.  In modern deliberate strokes, each work of art evokes a futuristic quality in color and pattern, conjuring the spirituality of art.
